Muhammad Sigit Andhi Rahman, Ph.D.

My name is Sigit. Currently, I am a lecturer in the International Relations Study Program at President University. I received my Ph.D. from the Graduate Program in International Studies (GPIS) of Old Dominion University (ODU), Norfolk, USA, with the support of a Fulbright scholarship. My research interest is on the topic of Environmental Politics and Sustainable Entrepreneurship.

In the past year, I have published books, reports, and policy summaries on the implementation of Landscape Governance in the KELOLA Sendang program in South Sumatra Province and the FCPF-Carbon Fund program in East Kalimantan Province in Indonesia.

My interest in environmental issues started when I visited Germany to learn about sustainable tourism practices in 2004. Since then, I have participated in many activities and programs related to sustainability. For me, involvement in these various activities is our responsibility to God as the Creator of the universe and a form of love for fellow creatures.
