Handa S. Abidin, S.H., LL.M., Ph.D.
As an academician, he has research interest in international law, climate change law, human rights law, and Indonesian legal system. Handa’s peer-reviewed book (monograph) on law is owned by the world’s top law schools: Harvard Law School (Harvard Law School Library), Yale Law School (Lillian Goldman Law Library), and Stanford Law School (Robert Crown Law Library). He has written more than 50 articles published in various media outlets. Handa has also been trusted by the Asian Legal Business (Thomson Reuters) as the judge of the prestigious Southeast Asia Law Awards 2018-2019 and Indonesia Law Awards 2015 and 2017-2019.
Handa has three law degrees from three different countries: Indonesia, the USA, and the UK. He received his Sarjana Hukum (S.H.) degree from Universitas Indonesia, his Master of Laws (LL.M.) degree from the George Washington University Law School, and his Ph.D. degree from the University of Edinburgh Law School.
